Social Workers @ the Library

Our social workers are available and ready to help. The Library Social Workers provide one-on-one assistance and referral for healthcare, mental health, food and SNAP benefits, government services, immigration, housing and reemployment guidance.

READing Paws

The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program improves children’s reading and communication skills by employing a powerful method: reading to a therapy dog. Recommended for ages 6-12.

AARP Income Tax Assistance

AARP Volunteers will provide income tax assistance, by appointment only.

Melrose Film Festival

Calling all filmmakers and video creators! Driven by innovation and creativity, the Melrose Film Festival highlights the work of imaginative filmmakers across the globe. Submissions will be accepted through April 17.

Southwest Branch Closing for Maintenance

Southwest Branch will be closed on Monday, March 25 and Tuesday, March 26 for replacement of the HVAC unit. The book drop will remain open and we plan to resume normal operating hours on Wednesday, March 27.
